It means so much to me that I was missed,,,,,more than you know.

I have been a little busy the last couple of days , trying to get Denny's things ready for him to go back to Denver.

He just left a few minutes ago and I feel sooo sad....... Denny and I have been married longer than I lived at home with my parents.

Thru all of these years, we have always had each other, together everyday, physically in the same room most of the time.

We are having to make adjustments, sacrifices in order to start saving up for college for kids, braces, cars,a new home(hopefully by spring) and retirement. I can't go with him on the road as I used to, and I can't leave my oldest son, even thou he will be 18 in six months, home alone. He still needs a firm hand here at home to keep him out of trouble.......

So, at the moment I feel a bit torn,,,,,I want to travel ( love Denver btw) with Denny, the younger kids love it too,,,,,,but I only have Jake home 2 more years and I don't want to give that up. I know I can never get that back. But in two years I can plan to travel with Denny, if I continue to home school the younger two. The elementary school system here sucks , and there is still so much going on down here that I would rather put them in a private school if we decide to go that way.

I still to this day,,,,,,over 2 years since being out of the borg,,,,,,,,get pissed at the Borg,,,,,,for so much. Mainly, about this work issue. All the things we could have done differently if only we didn't have to quit a good job, to get home for an assembly, d/c, elders meeting etc. There were so many opportunities given up because we thought putting spiritual things first would bring us blessings.......yeah right!!!

Well, thanks for listening to my little rant,,,,,,,I am sure we will settle into this new routine.

Thank you all for your support , your friendship and I am grateful to have you all to talk to . I suspect I will be here alot more since I will be home alone ( without grownup conversation..hehe) for the time being.

    All my love,,,,,,,,,Dede

I am sorry you are going through this after all you have already endured. But hey, we all make mistakes. That is what life is all about. The important thing is to not give up. Keep up the good fight, and work to make things better.

It must be tough not having WildTurkey around though! But you sound determined and strong to do what you need to do. And you are so right about your kids. It is important for you to be with them while you can.

My kids are 16, 15, and 12 still at home, and I have a 21 year old out on his own....They all still need me around to watch over them... 18 year olds can be a handful! (they think they have all the answers, and in reality are often lossed and too proud to say so) LOL

You guys are so smart and what a better way to get on with your life and leave the B'org behind than to plan for your future and your kids futures! Good for you guys!

It goes by so quickly! I really admire what you and Denny are doing/sacrificing for your kids Dede. I'm glad you are back, this post brought a big smile to my face.

Take care hun and tell Denny I said "hello".
