I could tread a LONG time floating on my back in calm seas...Until I dehydrated or some marine critter came on along and ate me.

BTW....I bet I can swim further UNDERWATER without coming up for air than you can. I made it 5 times....up and back (counts as two laps), in a normal sized backyard pool.(inground that is)
