And in New Zealand, crisps are called 'chippies'. Fries are 'chips'. Or 'hot chips' if you want to be really clear. (Unless you work at McDonalds, in which case you call them fries).
Gee-This discussion reminds me of the time I was "knocked up" when staying at a hotel in London.
