KLS, I was twenty years single, and I couldn't wait that long to get flowers. So I learned to go to the florist and pick them out for myself. You might want to try that for a quick pick-me-up.
Also, I love going for a wash and a haircut to make myself fell like a million bucks. I say, a hairdresser is a lot cheaper than a therapist.

I can't start another thread so i will have to add to this one. Please except my apologies for yesterday, i don't know why i snapped but i did. My daughter came to visit me last night and it did help , I also found out through my brother that my oldest sister that i have not seen in five years had a major stroke as in now a vegetable in a nursing home.I want to thank you all for helping and please excuse my whining.
Shamus, i especially want to say i am sorry to you for putting you in the spot that i did, for some reason i can relate to you but my problems are not yours you have enough of your own. -

Don't be silly! That's what's so great about this board---we understand things like this! Besides, if you hadn't mentioned that it was your birthday, most of us wouldn't have known about it and it would have skipped right by us!
Glad you're feeling better, and I'm sorry to hear about your sister's stroke. They sure can hit in a flash and there's no warning at all.
