I really loved Thunder's poem, and understood it completly. I started a thread on anger because of what the JW's have done in my life,,,,I even said I wanted to put my hands around their necks........and ,,,,,,,,well,,,,,, ya get the picture. Of course I hope....,,,,,hehe that I would never do that literally, but still I feel like I WANT to sometimes.
I remember when I was about 14 my dad found my secret stash of poetry . I didnt show them to a soul and never would have,,,,,,I didnt see them as being as evil and dark as he said they were. He made me burn them, throwing them into our fireplace , as I cried feeling totally misunderstood. Not only did he invade my privacy, ( hell, there was no privacy really anyway in our home, everything was monitored) , he insulted me, he just didnt get it.
Poems, and other things written are a beautiful way to express yourself . Sometimes these poems keep us sane, keeps our feelings in check.
I mentioned to Thunder how I know how he feels in regard to that poem,,,,,,,,I feel that way about Denny, he helps me to keep things in perspective, all the wrongs done to me. He keeps me focus on the here and now, and I am able to not let those evil demons in my memories take over me.
BTW,,,,,,, do you and Thunder have your life stories posted here? I would like to read them.
