in 1994 the WTS made a survey among JW in Germany (because of some media reports and because of their court case to get the public body status) that was published in a special German brochure in 1995.
One of the results was: 39% male, 61% female -

I remember the ratios being about the same for kids through early 20's. After that, there were more women than men. But like Blondie says, I think that's true of most religions, not just JWs.
