What do you think of the pics of the cathedral though?

Isn't it a beautiful building? It's around 800 years old now.

We like to be precise in how we name things.

It is a very nice cathedral

I'll stand corrected, but I beleive the village of Dunblane is classed as a city (complete with cathedral) even though it has a population of less than 8000. It has to be the smallest city in Scotland, maybe Britain too (though I accept that Mike has correctly identified the smallest city in England).

    Little Toe,

I think you are correct about Dunblane being the smallest city in Scotland. However, the smallest city in Wales is also the smallest city in the entire UK. It's called Saint Davids.

    Eman,

    Does size matter?

Glad we cleared that up. Poor St.David

It's a relief to hear that us Scots haven't got the smallest... er... city!!!
