WTS hypocrisy? What exactly do you mean?

Very few people can really be evil on purpose.

The evil occurs with the preference for darkness - turning from a true glimpse - preferring not to know, or choosing a truth that suits you better.

When I was younger I often wondered why 'bad' people were said to be cowardly and 'good' people brave, because the most badass kids at school were toughest and no cowards, but there is a difference with 'daring'. Many who join christian 'religions' are impressed by the daring (or perhaps audacity) of the adherents. It doesn't discount cowardice, which already occured in the choice of the alternate truth, where the hero of the story stays that way no matter what - in that 'truth' it often doesn't matter whether others are marginalised or even hurt - some call it evil.

    Lady Lee,

Thank you for being so specific. I haven't read CoC yet, but this is more or less how I imagined what happens if there is serious dissent within the GB.

:: To ensure his silence and that no JW would listen to him they DFed him.

I guess this is one of the main problems of this denomination. "The organization" as it is now is ultimately a totalitarian system in which people don't count at all. They can be your family, but they get shunned if they happen to disagree. And as a family member you have the greatest part in shunning them...

Yep, people don't count in the borg. They can be dfed easily and replaced with new converts. But there is only one "mother organization". It's an unfair test of loyalty.

Ok, I'd better stop here, before I drown in bitterness... :)

    Pole,

I share your feelings about the Borg.

I know it feels like a total betrayal,,of the trust they demand of us since they never ever were god's organization like they had us beleiving. I'm not too bitter just sad for my family still decieved by them,,and that i can't do a thing to help them because they are loyal to the WT.

I do feel that if someone is on the GB and they see all the things that go on at those GB meetings and how they deliberate at those meetings,,and they still beleive they are God's spokemens for the whole world,,they would have to be really pretty dam f***ing stupid.

    LL,

Yeah, yeah, I can hear you. I know it's the standard textbook for "apostates".

    I'm getting a copy already...

    1) To what extent are WTS leaders (whoever they may be now) cynical manipulators who are fully aware of their responsibility?

Fully aware of their responsibilities? Hah! They don't give a rat's ass about us.
Do they care about the little girl that suffers in the hospital.****** NO!!
They come in to tell the parenst to see to it she gets no blood.
After she dies they comfort them with the ressurrection and the hope of the New Order.
The Governing Body and every elder that supports the doctines of the WT can go to hell.
    They can follow Jehovah there.

I know it's the standard textbook for "apostates"

That's the biggest bull I heard. There is no standard textbook. COC had no effect on me whatsoever!
And as for "apostates" The biggest apostates call me an apostate.
The Governing Body is the apostate.

Biggest (__|__) s who walk the earth. ******************************************

Sorry I couldn't find a better phrase to describe the Governing Body.
    Which words should I use?

BTW. Maybe you should edit the dictionary too, because the word I used is in there.
Some people do not think it is swearing, just the only way to describe certain groups
    or individuals.
    Or should I say f****g?

    well?

You know the rules, old son!

This is not going to turn into another debate on this worn topic of the F word.

Boy, Andy - you're getting carried away easily.... Granted, this joke about "standard apostate textbook" may not have been the best I've ever made, but I'm surprised how emotional you got.

Here is a piece of advice for you:

Next time you see a thread started by me, think twice before reading it. You may get a heart attack or something.

I need only cite one major example of WTS hypocrisy to illustrate what scumbags they are. This hypocrisy was more than just that: it costed hundreds of innocent people their lives. Countless thousands of others were brutally gang raped.

The WTS forbade its members in Malawi to purchase a political card, which was required by law at the time. The card was meaningless, since there was only one political power in that Country anyway.

At the very same time, the WTS IN PRINT encouraged its young male members in Mexico to bribe officials to get a faked military ID card. This card was evidence of young men having served their required military obligations. Thus all JW men who did this were carrying cards to "prove" they had served in the military, while at the same time their religion taught that to do so would result in eternal death.

This is all covered in detail with supporting documentation in COC.

However, nothing more needs to be said about the cynical hypocrisy of those cold-blooded bastards in Brooklyn.
