1#-How do you get notified when someone replies to your post so I dont have to keep checking?
That feature isn't implemented on this site.
2# I still CANNOT see any of my threads,they do not show up in the active topics section or friends section(where I,ve posted) I have to click on my profile and click on my post history and topic history to see my threads and who responded to my posts.
Must be a glitch on your end. I see your threads just fine.
Also,,,,the emoticons do not work.
When I click on it it is downloading but its blank!
There is nothing wrong with my computer and my java works for every other forum out there.
Im sure having a hard time with this forums features.

I hit refresh on both Friends and Active Topics but I cant see my threads.LOL.yet OBVIOUSLY others see it cause it dont take long for someone to reply....Crazy

Comments like psst,cmere check out the date on this post,why do people do this and most times its a disgruntled poster(WAY OFF) is just meant to publicly embarrass the new poster.It makes some people happy to do that.
The "psst, cmere, check out the date on this post" and "why do people do this" were mine so I will address that. The first one wasn't addressed to you at all- it was addressed to Little Witch who was posting something to the person who originally authored the thread. The second one was a sincere question from me- not an allegation and I believe I stated that I was just curious.
I would like to thank William Powell,jgnat,Rabbit and Shera for making me feel welcome my first day here and not jumping to any paranoid conclusions because I have lurked here for a while and had to change my old alias because for some reason it would not log in.LOL.( I got some very strange responses my first day here)
Seems as though you jumped to a couple of your own eh? It works both ways.

Good heavens---I just admitted to another poster a few days ago that I didn't even KNOW about PMs for months and months after I joined on here! (duh) I kept seeing people refer to them but never knew what they were talking about!
I still haven't had much success with the gadgets (not the poster-haha) on the features when you post, and have just figured I'd keep on muddling along with what I HAVE been able to use!

Thanks,on the other forums I get notified of replies when someone responds to my posts.Its sure handy to have because it can be crazy trying to keep up with the conversations without it.I thought I was going crazy because because I couldnt find the feature,Now I know they dont have it.

Ann, I agree, it is set up here different than any other board I have ever been on........it bugged me when I first started because I couldn't find the threads I wanted either........ I learned to just click on the active topics and see what is most recent... and then page backwards..
but because this is a busy board, you can lose track of a thread fast.. which is why if it is a day or two later, I to and search my posts and find them that way.. Its a pain but after a while you get used to it

There are lots of toughies I imagine.
But one thing you WONT see me doing is "going at it" as you put it with other posters,I also dont try to PROVE myself. I did that for years in the organization and it got me nowhere.The only person I have to prove anything to is myself. :)
While a good healthy DEBATE is cool I dont get into mudslinging matches.I came here looking for like minds and some support.I think thats why everyone is here.Besides Life is way too short.I think its too bad some people like to watch and engage in fights on forums(Been on forums for 3 years and I,ve seen it all)you only make yourself look silly and no one wins.You may win the argument so to speak but lose respect. Im just not into it. :)
