Where have I been?

For those of you who know me, I want to let you know what has been happening lately.

On July 8th, I went in for emergency colon cancer surgery. The tumor was removed but some malignancy was found in a few lymph nodes so chemo was recommended. I had my first of 12 treatments last week and appear to be doing okay without any side effects.

Your prayers and best wishes are appreciated very much. Also helpful to me has been the book CANCER (Fight it with the blood type diet) by Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo wherin the different alternative plans such as nutrition etc. that are know to be powerful cancer fighters are listed. For example, for type A blood people a extremely strong cancer fighter is the common edible snail (escargot) (Helix pomatia) which by the way is available in pill form. Many other things are listed too which have been proven to be very beneficial.

    Thanks all,

    Outaservice (but not outa-commission)

Well, I knew thanks to mouthy and Tom Cabeen. I'm glad to hear that it was pretty much all in one spot and could be excised. Keep us posted as to your progress.

I don't know you but I love you and want you to get better!

My family has always been prone to cancer. It is very real to me. So far, I've escaped. But, when I hear of a person such as yourself who is fighting the good fight I can only have the utmost respect for your courage and tenacity.

Thankfully we live in a time where medical science has more arrows in its collective quiver than ever before. Stay mainstream in treatment if you can. There are a lot of quack cures that will steal time from more productive treatments.

If I could grant you health and happiness, if it were in my power, it would be yours in a heartbeat.

All the best I wish for you,

    Terry
