The state of Maine USA has the highest gun ownership per capita of all states except Alaska.

I ""use to be"" an avid collector,my prize piece was an AK with two 75 round drum mags.[ Legal civilian semi auto fire,no selector switch]

I'am useless at sport chat, but I can gun talk guns all day.

Now i'am a crack shot with a camcorder. Video Camera

[ Triva, what is the one commerically manufactured firearm that a silencer will actually work on?Hint, the bullet must have,a subsonic muzzle velocity.

    Ha!!

So here's another one for ya:

I'd been at MF for 3 months (at Adrian's request; an escapee from the Brooklyn cleaning crew; I was tall, and could pre-pick those apple and pear trees without a ladder), and there I was, a bean-pole shaggy haired guy (not one hair-cut that summer), and Knorr shows up in his Caddy, for breakfast.

I kept my head low, in the back 40 strawberry fields...and went out that evening and almost killed me a deer.

Bethel isn't what a lot of people think; it certainly wasn't what I thought it would be.

Boy, this brings back memories...perhaps some better forgotten.

Why do have this "image" of watching what happens when I blow Val's brains out from his colorectal area?

Rifles are particularly useful for such a project.

A man must use such tools as are available to him at the moment.

I now have a strong mental image of Ona....camo-ed up... in quiet pursuit of the 'Varmit-cong'......

That's a funny visual! Thanks for sharing it. Robyn

I do have a single shot 16 guage that makes a nice "bang" in the face of clay targets. It does a helluva job on rabbits & pheasants, too.

I figured my son would skeet shoot while he is "where he is" but LOL they guards have to pick up each piece and each shot so they don't EVER shoot. Now if the President is there and asks them then they do.

    YES!
I love hunting...shooting trap...and guns...though we prefer to call them 'firearms' in canada lol

I also love the smell of fired gunpowder.....

I just had a great day shooting a buddy's Colt .45 semi auto custom stainless as well as his custom competition Beretta 12ga with hydraulic recoil and cheek piece....good times!

Plus, a new Remington Wingmaster 12ga 3.5" mag shotgun on the trap as well!

I'm just considering a 300 WinSM vs. 7mmMag rifle right now....composite stock and stainless barrel.

    boa.....

I have to rescusitate the thread to comment on Xenawarrior's first experience of clay shooting.

What a sh*tty thing to do. Some friend. Given that your gun fit and stance were all wrong, it is amazing that you hit anything at all. You must have a cast iron personality not to have been put off shooting for good.

Thank God this p*llock isn't a driving instructor - "Oh, yes, you need to be in a serious road accident to learn safe driving".

    Words fail me.
