  i em not a J.W. but i do believe these people are the nicest and most religious honoring people iv come to know .Why do you like to bash the witnesses , i really don't understand??? Take a look around this world and tell me something , If there was a god would he like the negative things you are doing or would he like the positive things the witnesses are doing , im not a very smart man but i can tell you this If i was to join any religious group i would sure talk to the J.W.s first.

  I'm sure most of us,when we first decided to become JWs,
  thought that they were the nicest people in the world.
  That they had the right understanding of God.

  But it wasn't until we became informed that we realized
  it is all a facade.

  I'm sure there are many cults that can be spoken of
  the same way. They are such good people.
  Certainly,God must look on them with favor.

  But it's not until we look behind the curtain do we see
  how things realy are.

  Kent, you can ask the person that sent you the email this question.
  What are the positive things the JWs are doing?
  Besides them knocking on doors trying to get new members to join,
  what is it that they are doing that is good?

  hi kent,
  i think talking to someone who just studies or knows the JW's is incredibly difficult. i'd rather go head to head with the whole body of elders. reason being is they usually don't know from any experience personal or otherwise how unloving the org really is, yet EVERY witness at one point has seen it. usually a witness has at one point has seen hypocrisy. usually a witness at one point has seen the clicks and has been in or heard about "cold congregations". most JW's at one point see how certain brothers or sisters are never invited over. all the outsider see is what they are shown. all of us here have been guilty at one time of presenting ONLY the best face of the org to that person. we tell them hoe HAPPY we are. we bend over backwards helping them see how kind we are. we display incredible humility to them. its only after they join that the help stops, the invitations no longer exist and the mask slips off a bit. i have no idea how to help someone see through that.... i recently tried and failed. i think they have to learn the hard way.....jurs
