How would that work? I know that if they typed in Jehovahs witness or whatever, and this site came up then they could surf the site and may happen to stumble on your posts and find you. But what I dont know is, say your name is Jane Doe, they type Jane Doe in google, or whatever they use to search, and JANE DOE comes up with posts you have made to this site. Can that happen?
Could someone search the internet and trace your name back to this site?

ballistic
yep - especially if you add "JWD" to the search, and especially if you have a distinctive name and two part names group in "quotes". ballistic you will never find as it is a normal word and one which also appears in Watchtower publications, but some people have choosen names which don't exist any where else.

jgnat
Luckily for me, jgnat is the name for an obscure piece of software that seemingly lives everywhere. A few years ago, a google search of jgnat would have found every one of my authored sites on the web. If you are really curious what the internet thinks of you, try:
This is what google thinks of you:

If you type in "netty jehovah" JWD is the second entry. Hope this isn't too alarming!

Well yes tis a little bit alarmig, I think slightly. But I think for the most part, nobody would be interested in googling me, I mean of the family. And if an apostate website came up, well theyre not supposed to look

wednesday
we have talked about this before, i too am grateful that i chose a name like wednesday, which is common. But I suppose if u actaully put jwd after any of our names, u might come eup with something, but if someone knew u were on jwd, they would just come here and and do a member search not go thruough google.

It is probably easier to ID you from your comments on this site than the other way around. I am quite sure that my family and friends could ID me if they were ever brave enough to come here.

I tried my own name and I couldn't.
Not that I care. The WT knows that once they start stirring the pot here all their shit is gonna be out. So let them go ahead and trace.
