    Little Toe,

I only know of one other person with Celiac disease. I haven't found any bread that is more than just palatable so I don't use them often. What type of pasta do you recommend? I've tried corn and it left something to be desired. I do find that I don't miss bread and pasta nearly as much as I thought I would; maybe it's that I feel so much better.

I would sure appreciate some recipe's and hints from you and Billygoat!

Thanks Blondie. I haven't begun to look for support groups and I appreciate your suggestions.

    Emma:I have no recommendations, sorry.
I had friends who suffered, and would tell me about it, but no close relatives.
Subsequent to my DA'ing they have no contact.

I hesitate to post after Bradley.

I run. Currently I'm training for the Seattle Marathon in November. I run four days a week 4-8 miles each run currently but will eventually get up to 20 miles before the event. I strength train twice a week and take one day off. I'm pretty strict with my diet but in summer it's hard not to indulge in treats. By next month I'll have to be more strict with myself as my long runs get longer. I don't drink much alcohol while training but the occasional scotch is necessary.

    Sheila, what other sexercises??

Lift weights. Walk, inline skate. (I love that.) Breathing exercises. I really want to get into some sort of martial arts--I need the discipline. (Not that kind of discipline Bradley)

My diet... well, it could use some remodelling, but mainly I try to eat a varied diet, and not too much. I could stand to eat more fruits and veggies, and I have to remind myself to drink enough water if it's not a workout day.

I'm in fairly good shape. Not the best, but not bad, and getting better.

    O
