It was in the 70's. I assume it was an international convention. I remember our house was full of relatives from OK including a tent or two in the yard. Anyone remember the year?
Thanks,
Bryan

Yeah, I remember it. It was shortly before I died in my previous life as a rabbit.
I remember going to an International Convention in 1978............not in Houston, but in Pontiac, Michigan.
It was 1978 at the Astrodome and it was a 5 day convention.
I can barely remember the International assembly at Yankee Stadium in 1969. I do remember the International assembly at Yankee Stadium in 1973. What a thrill it was to hear Brother Knorr speak.

I figured there was at least one more international since 1978.....
Wow, thanks for all the great responses!

I was at the 1978 convention at the Astrodome. I wonder how many of us have been at the same place at the same time over the years. Maybe we've served each other in the food lines, or cleaned the bathrooms together, or sat next to each other at conventions, or bumped into each other and said, "Excuse me brother/sister."
I was at the Victorious Faith International convention in New Orleans in 1978. That is when "My Book Of Babble Stories came out. I remember being so excited about that, and as soon as I got home I wrote a letter to the Society expressing my appreciation.
There was also a story about a sister having a baby during the convention, and she named it "Victoria Faye".
The really fun part of the convention, was my parents and I going down Bourbon Street, and my young impressionable mind seeing all the boobies.
