  A couple friends and I learned American Sign Language so we could talk with the deaf in our congregation and eventually translate.

  It was very handy at meetings and assemblies. Few could understand, and we weren't being loud, unless our gesturing got alittle out of control.

  I wouldn't be doing it to be disruptive, I'd be doing it because it's fun! Facial expressions can speak volumes, and can be very funny!
