On the WTS site is an article entitled: "Should I Get a Tattoo?" and the guilts are everywhere in this article! It doesn't take too much intelligence to work out early on what the WTS' stance on tattoos is, not that it seems to have much to do with "freedom in Christ".
Their cajoling of the R&F descends the depths when it comes up with this "reason" not to have a tattoo:
Consider also whether choosing to get a tattoo would enhance or undermine your claim of being a Christian. Could it be a "cause for stumbling" others? (2 Corinthians 6:3) True, some youths have had their tattoos placed on hidden areas of the body. Even their parents may not know about these secret tattoos. But beware! An emergency trip to the doctor or simply taking a shower at school could make your secret common knowledge! Better it is to "conduct ourselves honestly in all things," avoiding foolish deception.?Hebrews 13:18.
Who wrote that stuff?? For heavens sake? Getting into the shower with the boys has what to do with having a tattoo? And how will going to the doctor have anything to do with whoever it is that could be "stumbled"? Are they saying that doctors can be stumbled by seeing the human body? Good grief!!
Their bullying of the R&F knows no bounds; clearly they have no conscience!
