  Bill hicks did a routine about the guys who attempted (one succeeded) and their parents who sued the band Judas Priest for supposed subliminal messages urging them to kill themselves. He came up with the point, "Why would you want to kill your audience? They are who brings in the MONEY!!!!!!"

  Well, I think there is a corollary. If they did away with disfellowshipping except in the most extreme cases (i.e CHILD MOLESTING!!!!!) and the blood doctrine, they would make at least TWICE THE MONEY THEY MAKE NOW!!!!! If they did'nt have these stupid doctrine's in the first place, they would be HUGE now, except, they literally and figuratively KILL THEIR AUDIENCE!!!!!!!

  Now, I know doing this would open them up to lawsuits, but in the long run, IT WOULD AT LEAST DOUBLE THEIR MONEY!!!! ARE YOU LISTENING, BETHEL? YOU KNOW IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY FROM PUBLISHING!!! GO LEGIT AND YOU'LL MAKE A TON MORE!!!

  I actually knew those guys that offed themselves. They tried to steal my lunch money and stuff when I lived in Sparks, NV on my way home from school. They were weird dudes.

  I just went and saw priest a couple weeks ago with Slayer. One of the best shows I've ever seen. Nobody can sing like Rob Halford, although his replacement, Tim "Ripper" Owens who sang with them for six years in the interim was DAMN close. Hell of a voice.

  I remember Ozzy had the same problem with parents blaming the lyrics for a suicide when in fact the lyrics did not suggest it at all . It's unreal the extent to which people will go to extort money from celebrities . I'm saying that even if the song suggested it such as metalicas, fade to black, you would still need to be a complete idiot who needs serious psychological help to believe you should kill yourself . The priestband rocks.

  Sam Herd gave a talk about that. He said if they wanted to have more member they would simply stop disfellowshipping people, and stop going out in feild service. Then he added the rib, "but then we would be just another church".

  So if they make a talk about this you know what they think in private AV.

  If they are no longer spirit directed as I've read lately , then what's the point in dfing anybody? It would be impossible to speak against the spirit , thus the only unforgivable sin no longer applies . I think the blood doctrine has to go , I can't see any reason to df someone over something so petty and does not concern anybody other than the person taking the transfusion. The bible does not say anything about it other than to abstain from strangled meat .IMO
