I felt that if this is true, it would almost be an unbeatable ticket. Cheney has a lot of baggage that could haunt him during the campaign and debates.
I hope it's not true.
Has anyone else heard this prediction?

That doesn't mean he has to accept the nomination.....................like I said, they think he will say his doctor will advise him not to do it.

My very Republican second son says he heard as well, that there is going to be big surprise at the convention. He is thrilled it might be that McCain will be the VP candidate and feels Cheney is a liability.
He will vote for Bush no matter what, but is really happy at this prospect. Only a few more minutes until McCain's speech, not that he will reveal anything.
