Hmmm. I wonder why all of a sudden they are changing their tune, and saying it is nothing, all within the matter of a few hours. I wonder if the Gov't. is making them say that so as to not create a possible panic, as the implications of actually hearing from ET's would be staggering.
I'm not sure about that... there are far too many people around the world with access to equipment that could look for the signal.
I agree, frankiespeakin. The universe pushes life forth when the conditions are right. The question is how frequently are conditions right? Should we expect life in our system? In our galaxy? In our supercluster?
But it does seem hard to imagine that there is not other life out there.
