I installed it on my PC and I never encoutered any problems with my home network. Now, I have it slipstreamed on my installation CD of Windows XP. So, it will be installed automatically, everytime I'll reinstall Windows. If you have a CD burner, you can slipstream your SP2 with this software: http://www.softpedia.com/public/cat/13/9/13-9-235.shtml

IF you are running an Antivirus; disconnect it first. That is what I failed to do. And BLEWIE!
Same here! We just got our computer running again now! We had to completely reinstall windows! What a pain in the butt, starting over from scratch...

I installed it on my two computers at home; no problem. It didn't foul up our home network and I didn't have to disable antivirus first.
At work I deployed it to over 50 computers. Not a single problem.

Anyone have issues installing it on the coorperate edition of XP?
No, we use the corporate (volume license) version at work and there are no problems. But it's not an illegal version.
