I have an idea . . . and forgive me if this has already been suggested

It always annoys me to see the latest copies of the Watchtower & Awake! magazines when I go visit my mom at the nursing home. I don't feel comfortable throwing them away, since it's not my "house" but I feel the need to make a statement. So here's what occurred to me at about 5:00 a.m. this morning, when I was in that blissful half-awake, half-asleep state: I'm going to do a page of labels that say something like: "Ask Jehovah's Witnesses about their policy on child abuse," or "Ask Jehovah's Witnesses about disfellowshipping -- how many of their members do not speak to their children or parents?" -- something along those lines.

Any suggestions are welcome! I just want it to fit on a no-more-than 4X3 inch label (Avery 5164, if anyone cares), so I can just slap it on top of the magazine as I walk by.

I agree, and the format is about perfect. One small suggestion: also include a website like freeminds or silentlambs where the curious can check out your claims.

I found an Awake and Watchtower magazine in the waiting room of a v.a. hospital, no less!! There was no trash can in the room, and I would have looked like an idiot taking it into the dr.'s office with me, so I did nothing, except try to hide them under some other mags.

If I had some stickers on me, I would have loved to put one on each mag. What a great idea, cruzanheart !!

Great idea! I'd do it too... I don't often see the magazines around town, but it would be great to put something like that on them instead of throwing them away... imagine the impact!

I've always thrown the mags in the trash but more recently if I have a pen on me I will write silentlambs.org or freeminds.org on the magazines. If I don't have a pen they go in the trash.

I must hang out at the wrong places, I never see the WT or Awake around town unless its in the hands of some (usually elderly) person waving them on the street. I wonder if they would let me place a sticker on their magazines?? lolol
