I am so relieved that you are healing and back at home. However, never will I eat another anchovy on my pizza. <faints>

Jesus wept, doesn't this surgery lark take an age?
When I'd had my op, (almost 4 weeks ago!!!) they told me that it would be a long road back to me getting restored to full health. So, I assumed, it was gonna be 2 or 3 weeks at least!
Hah! 2 or 3 weeks my arse, this goes on forever. I still can't walk more than 200 yards without feeling like I'm going to keel over. My nurse tells me that my wounds are taking over 2000 calories a day out of my system to heal. 2000! That's 12 pints of beer! My shrunken tum can't hold more than a pint and half, and even then I feel like I'm going to explode.
Bugger bugger bugger.........
Englishman, dripping.
Hi Eman - glad you're improving, even if it is taking an age...
2000! That's 12 pints of beer
You must be drinking that watered down american stuff!!! LOL!
Get some Guinness down yer... esp. the bottled stuff - it's reputed to have a high iron content, ideal for helping the wound to heal!!!
Bull! <= waiting for the waves of hatred about the american beer comment!!
