As the world was presumbly ruined after the flood, nothing was grown etc etc, what did noah eat.
If he have started eating the animals, they would have been none around,so what did noah and co eat to avoid hunger?

Well, they obviously kept enough food on board for a year, so it's not a huge stretch to believe they had enough supplies to last a few more weeks. Of course, if they got the taste for meat, and didn't want to drive any animals to extinction they could have eaten the mice and rats on board, which would probably number several hundred by the end of the flood.
I just did a quick calculation on that. Assuming rats reach sexual maturity after 3 months, and thereafter have a litter of ten babies every month, after a year there would potentially be 3642 rats on board; and that's assuming the original pair were newborns. If they were a month old when they came on board, there could be over 7750 rats on board. More than enough to feed Noah's entire family for months.
Wasn't he in the ark for only 40days and nights?
No, it rained for 40 days and nights, but it took a year for the waters to subside. (Gen 7:11, 8:14)
