Sept 1, 2004 WT lies their faces off again

  I was just reading the Sept 1st WT. The October 11-17 article is entitled (what else?) Beware of "the Voice of Strangers".

  Naturally it's talking about "apostates" and how they're jes like Satan de Debbil trying to "mislead" good Dubs into thinking for themselves. Paragraph 14 says (make sure you've got a barf bag close by):

  False accusation. Although some news reports about Jehovah's Witnesses are fair, at times the media let themselves be used [not sure by who] to broadcast the biased voice of stranger. For instance, in one country a news report falsely stated that the Witnesses supported Hilter's regime during World War II. In another one, a report accused Witnesses of vandalizing churches. In several countries the media accused Witnesses of refusing to give medical treatment to their children and also of deliberately condoning serious sins committed by fellow believers. Even so, sincere people who know us personally recognize that such accusations are false .

  Funny how they never mention which country or media accused them, or how they never have any evidence to the contrary eh? Ya, so I guess that lovely letter that Rutherford sent to Hilter or Himmler where he said that the Organization "stands for the same high moral principles as the Third Reich" and where he denounced "greedy Jews" of being in league with the USA must've been fake.And I guess all those people who were molested by elders and then disfellowshipped for exposing the cover-up, must've all been lying.

  Can you believe the balls of the Writing Committee? Knowing that they are the ones lying, it really makes you wonder if they really do believe that they are God's "channel" hear on earth, or if they know that they're not but they don't give a damn.

  I'm makin signs with WT articles as we speak, to put in front of my hall tomarrow that shows their lying. Not really.....but it makes a person want to.

  As far as the statement regarding medical treatment......who the hell do they think they are fooling? Doesn't the average dub know the dubs are required to abstain from blood? Jesus! And to think I used to swallow that crap the same way they do. Me needs a spankin!

  This one is especially deceptive. It's a FACT that Rutherford wrote praises to Hitler and told him he totally supported the ideals of the National Socialists and that he thought the American and British governments were the bane of the planet. This is the notorious "Declaration of Facts" that the WTS published and distributed. But that Declaration was in 1934, NOT during World War II.
  
  This reminds me of another deception used long ago by Rutherford when he started that Beth Sarim sat on a "small piece of land" in San Diego, implying it was a modest house. We'll it DID sit on a small piece of land, only some 5,100 square feet. What they didn't say was the Beth Sarim property surrounding the house was over 75 acres!

  Gawd, they're so slimy. Why don't they just... you know... change their tactics and reform? It'd be easier in the long run than trying maintain this charade which makes nobody happy.

  The boldened part is another one of their manipulation techniques. Let's assume they are refferring to child molestation here, which seems quite likely, because of the publicity their policies got. What else could it be anyway ("deliberately condoning sins committed by fellow believers" )?

  Why don't they say it directly? "We have been falsely accused of protecting pedophiles".

  Because, the WT mag is published in many countries worldwide. Only in some of those countries information on the WTS policies of handling child molesters was published by the media, so that the average JW may have come into contact with it.

  So what they're trying to do here on the one hand is appease those who know about their problem, by saying it's all apostate propaganda.

  On the other hand, however, they withhold this information from those JWs who are in the dark about the pedophile paradise problem.

  It's a classic totalitarian ploy. Do not reveal embarrassing information unles it's absolutely necessary.
