He was later arrested police as he gave an interview to Sky News.

He must have forgot to bring his "royal security repellent" with him.

He was on TV an hour ago, giving interviews as he wandered around the perimeter of the palace.

The police had released him without bringing any charges against him.

    scotsman:

    Sounds like an ideal father.

Do you believe EVERYTHING you read in the news / papers?

I know nothing about the background of this man, as probably no one else here knows anything about him either. Maybe he is all that they say he is, maybe not. Taking the attention away from the issues raised by pointing at someone and making them look insincere, or silly, is standard diversion tactics used by politicians, lawyers, elders.. in fact anyone in authority that knows they have no defense about something. Exactly the same tactics were used by the police / government to turn people against the fathers that had climbed up London Bridge in protest of the unfair judicial system.

IMO, unfortunately, your post is proof that this type of diversion tactic works - it took the attention away from the issue and made him look like a crap father (btw, this is purely observational - I'm not making an attack against you personally..)

No I don't believe everything in the press, just as I don't believe Fathers4justice do their cause real justice. But I think that the background of the fathers is relevant as it can play a part in why they don't have access to their children. Notice I say can play a part. A father here recently doused himself in petrol and threatened the lives of a local women's group over the issue. The law does need to change with regard to parental rights, but i don't think these actions are the way to go about it.

I admit that I may be biased having a close friend who works in domestic abuse, so I hear the horror of violence that continues against women through access visits but I also appreciate that it must be terrible for a father to be unjustly separated from their child and denied any access by a vindictive partner.

Cheers for the background info scotsman.

It always seems to go back the same old adage - a few system abusers causes everyone else to suffer - both from the men and womens side

Ta for not taking offense and shouting at me!!

We should call him on the the "Batphone".. and get the whole story..

How did he get up there you ask?

Well, remember his trusty utility belt with the bat rope.

    ..

Seriously though, I think parents (both Moms and Dads) need reasonable access to their kids.

Isn't it great that the UK is such a peaceful country that in both the Batman incident, and the incident yesterday where five people opposing the ban on hunting foxes with hounds stormed Parliament and got to the floor of the chamber, not one shot was fired?

Yes, it might allow such-and-such or so-and-so, or make x think y.

But six people are alive today who would otherwise be dead.

Six people who just wanted to be heard.

We cannot let out fear of a miniscule minority of moronic Muslims who have embraced violence to turn us into legislation happy thugs with hair-triggers, using gross force to try and smash an enemy that only time and subtlety will confound, whilst infringing on the lives and liberties of those we claim to be be trying to protect.

    If we do, they win.
