I'm content to watch Varsity hockey live. Our Lakehead University team, the Thunder Bay Thunderwolves are ranked 3rd in CIS (Canadian Interuniversity Sports). Our local games are consistently sold out, and local support is phenominal. http://www.thunderwolveshockey.com/

think I'll go through withdrawal, when the playoffs are scheduled to start. The regular NHL season is just too long.

Watching more minor league hockey is a great idea, but there isn't much of it being broadcast on national TV. I'm sure that will change next year, if the lockout isn't settled.

Of course if the season is lost, the NHL owners can hire replacement players next year.

Get ESPN classic on your cable box, and glory in games past. At least that is how my hubby is coping. If that doesn't work, I will teach him to crochet.

Hey Happy guy, Are you talking about, DO you really want to hurt me???......My god it is way to funny....I pee my pants when I see it and so does the rest of the family.....

Also, I have slowly adapted to know NHL, but that may have to do with The London KNights( OHL) being 26-0......Tomorrows game should be really good....

I cannot even get a ticket to there games right now unless you have box seats or season tickets.

Our beer commercials always manage to cheer me up in some way or other, but this latest one is too funny!

As for what I'm doing.....now you OHLers don't get upset with me....I've been following the Hamilton Bulldogs in the AHL. I can go see live games at Copps (I'm close to Steel town) and the OTHER teams are actually very skilled. The Bulldogs are currently at the bottom of their division.
