OPINION: How do we think about it?

  Somebody once said: "opinions are like A**holes; everybody has one"

  There is a difference between knowledge and opinion; a great distinction.

  Knowledge carries certainty that everybody everywhere gets the same result. Two plus Two in Nova Scotia is the same as two plus two in Des Moines, Iowa.

  But, "blondes are sexier than redheads" is a subjective assessment wherever you are.

  Not everything is a matter of opinion. But, opinions matter, When we vote in an election, for example, we change the future of the world!

  What is your opinion on OPINION?

  We all know people who have to always be asking "What do you think--should I do this or not?"

  Is there safety in numbers? Is the majority right? Always?

  For weak-minded people, there is safety in numbers. For such people, being asked to give reasoned, intelligent support to their beliefs is probably the most terrifying prospect they will ever face.

  How many people believe something has no bearing on whether something is true or not.
  Something exists as a fact whether anyone believes it or not, the earth was always round, even when people didn't know it.

  I'm very partial to redheads! But, brunettes seem to be the ultimate!!

  Not everything is a matter of opinion. But, opinions matter, When we vote in an election, for example, we change the future of the world!

  I'm of the opinion you can still emphasize a point using bold or italics or even underline, but it really annoys me when the fonts get bigger and bigger.
