If I were any closer, I'd come help you pack. Organizing is a hobby of mine. Yes, I know I've got a sickness.

I'm so sorry you are experiencing so many troubles and pain right now. If it helps look on the bright side, soon you'll be moved and once that's over you can concentrate on de-stressing which will be easier being that you'll be leaving your biggest stresser behind.

Much love and luck to you!

Thank you all for your support.

Kate you said a mouthful. I thought we were going to die on the way to the hospital last night. I really wanted to go alone but he insisted on coming and drove as if I was in the last stages of childbirth. We almost hit a person on a bike and I have no idea how many accidents we barely avoided. If I want any sanity I have to close my eyes and hope he avoids tragedy. All for a swollen foot. I hate driving with him and if I could have driven I would have. But he never listens to me about driving and I'm so tired of fighting with him about it.

Brenda I would absolutely love meeting with you and Scully. That would rank tight up there with meeting Blondie and Irrev.

22 days to go before I leave. and counting

Oh the Vioxx worked wonders. The swelling has gone down by half and I can now put a bit of weight on the foot. It is still a bit sensitive but I can now see and move my toes. Yesterday the baby toe was buried under the next one and almost invisible with all the swelling. Oh well guess I need to stay on the anti-inflammatories. Lesson learned the hard way

Here's to counting down with you Lee! Hang in there......I wish I lived close to you cuz I would be there helping you pack and move!!!!!

That is great news! I'm so glad you've gotten some relief from the pain and swelling........almost makes the scary trip to the hospital worth the ride (well except for that poor cyclist and a few others).....LOL.

    Hugs!
