I don't think I'd make a good mod on here.
When I ran a BBS, I think I did a good job. Fowl language was allowed, even encouraged. I also encouraged flame wars, even though it seemed to have the opposite effect. I had a separate message section for flame wars, but none were started. It was quite amazing.
The only thing I didn't permit was racism, and I also didn't take too kindly to people telling me how to run my BBS. I had a couple of people like that, and I gave them minimum access, and permitted them 5 minutes per day on the board.
