I was curious that visiting Americans find it strange that we should eat baked beans with our breakfast over here.
When else would a person eat beans?

I had never heard of such a thing until FMZ made himself a Brit breakfast in Dallas.
Still can't imagine actually eating beans for breakfast.

(At the risk of sounding racist), I will state that beans for breakfast is also a very latino thing, too. being served delicious refried beans with my breakfast while living south of the border was almost a daily thing. It really sticks to your ribs and keeps you going all morning.

It used to be common in Texas for some people to eat steak and eggs for breakfast. In fact there used to be a chain of restaurants in Dallas called Steak & Eggs. Don't know how many people still have steak for breakfast.
