Smart takes different forms I think, educated smart and non-educated smart. There is also been there done that smart, and ouch that's smart's.

I doubt many will answer the question. I think some people feel that stating they are intelligent seems arrogant, which is too bad. I personally see nothing wrong with giving your perspective of yourself. That's all it is afterall, your perspective.

I thought about that after I posted the topic. I don't consider it arrogant to say that you are smart. Now if someone said "I am the smartest person here" then yes I would consider that pretty arrogant. What I'm mainly trying to find out is how you measure intellegence in other people, such as an extensive vocabulary. There are people who know facts and figures yet don't have much common sense.
