The typical Jehovah's Witness no longer is the strong, spiritual giant. Lately, I hear more and more "very inactive" JWs that haven't gone to a congregation meeting in years, still consider themselves good JWS. They are like "home Baptists". They may never go to another meeting again (except the Memorial) yet they believe they are still "ingood standing" and OTHERS regard them as fine Jehovah's Witnesses too!!.....Have you seen this to be true??

Not at all. I think this is a very good question posed by Minimus. If his observations can be shown to be global (or at least Western) rather than just localised phenomena, then it is more proof of the "mainstreaming" of the religion.

Which is by all means a good reason for putting this question out there, to see if others have similar observations. By no means is it flogging a dead horse.

No, they don't. Get your head out of your nether-regions. A blatant attempt on your part to yet again promote one of your endless questions and threads on this board. Of course, this is just imvho.

There could be more of it lately...I wouldn't know. I can say that I remember there being different playbooks. My family was looked down on because we didn't have any money and--other reasons unknown to me. If we missed a meeting there were 120 questions the next time we were present. But that lady who lived in the big 10 room house, drove a mercedes, and gave big donations would show up at the kingdom hall once a year and she was always talked about like she was an upstanding JW.
