Ok Here it is my official statement

I must be insane

I drove to Ottawa, Got lost, Saw one apartment that was way too expensive and way too small. Got lost several more times to find one work info plaqce only to be sent to a second and then a third only to be told I had to live in the city to get services

duh yeah I knew that!

Then got lost getting out of the city and got caught in the rush hour traffic and got lost again coming back to my daughters.

I NEVER get lost!!!

This was more than I could handle in one day

Going to rest up and decide where to go and what to do from here

Lady Lee- sorry you got off to a stressful start. However, once you've got all the particulars sorted out, I'm sure that you'll love Montreal. It's one of the nicest cities I've ever visited. Good luck with your situation, and be well.

Sorry for the confusion Insomniac. I lived in Montreal for 32 years and know it very well.

Today I drove to Ottawa which clearly I don't know as well.

Just had a chat with my daughter and will check out the possibility of taking a french course (french or the lack of it being my biggest stumbling block to getting work here) As a resident of the province before I was not eligible for a free french course. But as a new resident I just might be so I will look into that tomorrow
