I rarely go out to see movies, being a netflix junkie who has just discovered you can reserve art/foreign/indie films at the public library! So these films are mostly not new, and I'm not absolutely certain I saw all of them this year. Except for the first one:
- The Triplets of Belleville
- The Business of Fancydancing
- The Cuckoo (pretty sure I saw that in '03, but DON'T MISS IT!)
- Farewell My Concubine
- Keep the River on Your Right (not sure when I saw this)

Brummie,
I have only heard of one of those!
Which one?
Are they all good?
Yes, if you like art films, foreign films, and serious stories told a little off-kilter.
Whats your opinions of the day after tomorrow?
Haven't seen it and don't intend to. I'm too sensitive and soft-hearted to enjoy disaster or horror movies, although I've enjoyed somber films like The Basketball Diaries, Basquiat, and Painted Fire. Sadness tempered with accomplishment I can take, but not unalloyed terror.
