What is the Watchtower emphasis?

It seems clear to me that if we are not involved in flesh-and-blood fighting, that the spiritual battle is in the spiritual realms. I think the Watchtower society is the one who has made the fight personal, pointing fingers at other people and organizations for their woes. Those who spend their lives pointing fingers have little time to examine their own faults. Their time would be better spent searching out their own hearts for the wickedness.

Really? What evidence do they provide to back up this assertion? There is also evidence that the opposite is happening, and our new youth have a greater interest in spirituality. As it is with new generations, however, they are making their faith their own.

In my JW husband's briefcase is an "Association List". The rest of the world would call it a phone directory. Though my husband has faithfully attended this congregation for these past three years, and is a baptized Jehovah's Witness, his name is not on the list. He is not yet proved himself worthy of association.

Association - is it one of those Jehovah's Witness "trigger words" that the Watchtower Society has taken over for their own use? Is such a distinguishing between brothers even Christian behavior? This article implies that only those "brothers" who make the magic phone directory have protection against Satan.
