I generally have good and bad days. I think no matter my size I will always think I am fat. I see a average looking female, nothing special. And now that I am pregnant I just see a stomach that keeps growing and there is nothing I can do about it so I try not to look in the mirror.

Scarlett is beautiful. And will most certainly be one of those really cute pregnant gals, who every hates because they're jealous ;)

ok...first of all, Terry...we have pm'd and I don't see you at all how you see yourself!!! Stop putting yourself down!!! You are a wonderful person with many fine abilities!!!!!!!! And your avatar doesn't support your description of yourself at all!
Now then:
I am a 47 year old woman.....when I look in the mirror I see a small, 5 ft tall petite woman....a lot of times not as old as she really is.
Could be because of my petite size (2) and small frame and the fact that many think I am my 23 year old's sister!!!
But somedays I feel old........I have been thru a lot of emotional turmoil in my life........lost parents early in life....a 20 year marriage to a cheating man.........feelings of emptiness due to living a life raised as a JW and only a year or so ago realizing it was not the truth(tm).
but still...I found a man who is a 10!!! (not joking here) and younger then me!!! and he really loves me...NOdenial is his name!
I have long blonde hair (highlighted, but have very few grey hairs...of course you wouldn't know cause I have highlighted hair) and blue eyes with a slight green ring around the blue (very unusual color)....eyes that are very soulful, full of expression.
but each day I look in the mirror can be different depending on my emotions......... sometimes I see a woman who aches because of her past and crys to have parents....and unconditional love from everybody.....(remember I lost my parents young in life, my Mom died when I was 14 and my Dad at the age of 28..I have felt like an orphan ever sense...no home to ever go to) and now slowly loosing each of my Jw siblings...because I am am taking the stand for the real truth(tm).

Most times I see John Merrick, other times I see Fat Bastard. Today I see something old and familiar.
If I were rich, I would be an iconoclast, even eccentric. But as I'm overdrawn in my checking account, facing a mountain of debt, I am only strange and odd and very little.
Ah well, maybe in the next life.

I have seen people whose appearance changed so dramatically in such a very short period of time that it was frightening how easily it happened!
I remember not seeing my Mother for 6 months. When I saw her again I did not actually recognise her. She had lung cancer and I remember thinking to myself: "My mother is gone forever; I don't know who this person is."
We attach personhood so easily to appearance!
How many of us take the trouble to penetrate the exterior illusion and become familiar with the "who" which dwells within?

Wow Terry! You're digging up some old ones today!
I see myself getting older. My back aches sometimes. The foot that I broke badly when I was a kid is starting to ache on occasion, just like the doctor said it would back then. I'll never be able to run like I used to, without a slight limp.
I've gained weight though, which, for me, is a plus. I work out at least some weekly. So while I've gotten a little bit of a gut in the past five years, I feel physically stronger than I've felt since I was in high school and a bit bulkier. (For any of you who are familiar with the body types, I'm an ectomorph.)
I think I'm a fairly attractive man otherwise. I think I've actually gotten better looking in many ways. At least I don't have arms like a little girl and no ass... anymore.

I went through the dumpster and pulled out moldy oldies that looked promising!
It saves having to think!!

I was terribly thin my whole life. As I've aged I put on weight. Now, even though I am "fat" (to my own way of seeing myself) I look normal and even shapely!
What a bonus!

Well, I'm glad you are pleased by the extra weight and stuff...for us girls that's not generally a bonus. LOL
