I like to use power tools also. Definitely a GUY related thing. I have a wood shop at the house with all kinds of electric tools. Drills, Jigsaw, power router, belt sanders, etc.
Important rule to remember " you can never be too careful".
I almost took off my hand with an electric router. Now I am afraid to use the tool. Let someone else build it for me.

Not necessarily, Franklin. My daddy turned me loose in his shop when I was 10 or 11 with all his power and hand tools (to my mother's dismay). And one of the many things I'm grateful to my JW parents for.
My last divorce I got the tablesaw because I knew how to use it and my hubby didnt! About the only thing he did with it was cut up dimensional lumber scraps for the fireplace.
Now, I use Kevan's sewing machine, and he uses my tablesaw. I must say that I know how to use the tablesaw better than he knows how to sew.... Now I get to do both... Not fair! Guess it's what I get for having a broad skill base. Or being a skilled broad. Whatever.

PS. Never injured myself with power tools, but I have run a machine needle through my finger on 2 different occasions. Hurt like hell!

Hey Brenda, you go girl. I'm a skilled broad to and I don't know if that's a good thing or not cause the men get you to do the house stuff. Man. Oh well, I don't mind. It's kinda fun. I love demolition. Now that's a hoot. P.s. go blondie rusty Hurting yourself is definately not a good thing, but in that kind of work you always do. Especially the thumbs. Man they get in the way!
