I've been waiting since I was 13 years old to see this light saber match on the lava planet between Obi Wan and Anakin

how did you know about this scence? is this something from the star wars universe? i never read that before.

you really liked Episode I better than II ? wasn't the kid plus the creatures with the long ears really disturbing? and the scene with the bigger and bigger sea monsters that eat each other? And what about anakin building C3PO??? why did he have to put all characters from the old episodes into the new ones. C3PO, R2D2, boba fett etc. that makes the universe pretty small!

the new episodes definitively were the greatest movie disappointment i ever experienced.

It was in the Return of the Jedi novel, published back in 1983. In the part when Luke is on Dagobah after Yoda died, and when he is having his conversation with Obi-Wan, there is a lot more detail than in the movie -- Obi-Wan tells Luke about his last light saber duel with Anakin and how Anakin fell into the molten lava.

Would you like to know some spoilers from the film itself, as in what happens?

Lucas should have left well enough alone. Or at most should have made two prequels.

First focussing just on the struggles between the Jedi and the Sith, and how Anakin starts off on the one side but have alot of adversity come his way. Then have the next flick focus more on the psychological and environmental forces that shaped Anakin to Vader. How he was failed, and how he failed himself.

Episode three has got to be better.

I already know a bit .... and I already got fully spoiled the last time....so I think I'd like to wait it out this time and have Lucas surprise me during the movie.....

If Lucas can pull off the storyline that I read, it should be the best of the new films by far. I know of someone who has seen the rough cut and proclaimed it the best since Empire Strikes Back and better than the original first film

Big Tex.....Wow, that sounds rather exciting. I always try not to get my hopes up to avoid disappointment, and let myself be pleasantly surprised when it's better than I thought. Like, I read the script of Star Trek Generations before I saw it thought it sucked so bad, and then when I saw it in the theatre, it was way better than I thought it was going to be. However, I really don't want to know too much beforehand cause I've been waiting so long for this, so I'll have my fingers crossed.

The other thing is that the script might be okay, but for time constraints, important narrative-advancing and character-advancing scenes may be cut. This was the case with TPM, and especially the case with AOTC which imho ruined the "romance" story by making things happen too quickly artifically because a lot of the developing scenes were cut.
