Codeblue my boys, son and son-n-law are both 26 and another 15 year old son. they have x-box parties as often as the two older ones wives can stand them to. and they play on-line x-box they are I said game droids! thay prefer to be called game eletists.
They are addicted to the game to.
BTW fellow jwd person BOA has the avitar. Master sergent. large shiny green metallic guy with a huge weapon.

My 15 year old said it was do or die for getting Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.
He went nuts to have it. So, I drove him to the store and he went in and bought it.
Darn it all, .. he bedazzled me with his hysteria to get it. I never checked or looked at the game before he bought it.
and now.
I wish it had never come into the house!..
The bad language is profuse and we just don't talk like that in our home.
the 15 and 17 year old are now only allowed to play it after their little brother 9 has gone to bed and also preferably when I'm not around. As soon as they get their fill of it I have asked them to sell it, asap.
Also, strict rules have now gone into affect. No games come in our home without first being screened through a rental and no mature games at all.

Special K: That's a really good screening process. I'm glad to see that you're taking an active role in what games your children play. Grand Theft Auto is not a game for children at all, but so many parents are deluded in thinking that all games are okay for children and will buy them the bloodiest, most violent games without even realizing it. I'm sorry you had to be burned like that, though. I applaud your effort.
I love Halo, and I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on a copy of Halo 2. I loved it for the gameplay, the multiplayer, but especially the story. It's one of the few first person shooters where I care about what happens in the game besides me shooting things. -

Whats you guys opinion on X-box vs Playstation 2?
I bought a broken ps2 several years ago and fixed it but because of its injury it was just a matter of time! It finally gave up the ghost about 2 weeks ago and I've been thinking about getting another one. I Wondered though if I should look at the X-Box, it would be a major change as I have about 100 games for the ps1 and 2 which would become worthless! Yikes!

I stand corrected it's master chief not sergent... and so as not to cause any agravation to many of you if you can wait to rent it you may want to!
My son-n-law. beat<?> it in 7 hours! and they were really disappointed in the ending. I won't say more due to respecting the die hard fans. J said if it wasn't for being able to play it x-box live it would not be worth it. And no one could of liked Halo more than these guys do!
