theyre having issues with logging on, says everytime they try logging on, all they get is crazy mixed up characters

That's because of her browser settings. Tell her to go open explorer the click: tools, internet options, advanced (tab), and then scroll down and look for HTTP 1.1 and tell her to put a check in both boxes and then connect to JWD.
