His name was JR. He was 15 years old. If I can find out how to post the local newspaper story about him I'll do that. Or maybe the website for the paper???

He was a big part of our lives and I have such grief over his death . the newspaper is www.countywide.com

My condolences. Llamas always looked like they would be really good pets. Will you be getting another at some time?

Had he been ill or was it old age?

It is hard to lose a pet, a friend really.

    It never gets easier.

I'm so sorry. It's so hard to lose one that we love. Be it a person or animal. They are our friend and our family. I lost my dog flopsy when I was 16 and it was horrible. I still miss my sweet dog. We did everything together. The bond was so strong. She was my best friend. I was always upset that animals wouldn't be in the new system so to speak. Now I'm comforted with the memories of her. I feel that I will see her again someday. I don't know how exactly, it's just a feeling that I have. I know that you will be with your LLama too. So take comfort. The pain does die but the memories do not. LOVE Panther

I'm so sorry. I lost my dog earlier this fall and I know how difficult it is. It's not just like losing a family member, it's worse I think. None of my memories with Henry were bad...and he was so devoted...unlike any family member I've ever had. One of the hardest experiences I've ever had.

    Hugs,

    Andi
