Watching NASCAR, or even being there in person, is roughly tolerable, but not drinking Bud or its equivalent!

No comparison between a good local brew like Fort Collins' Odell's 90 Shilling or Easy Street Wheat and piss-ass swill like Bud (which has a giant plant in Fort Collins).

But you Brits are weenies when it comes to beer. Even stuff like your 5.4% whatever (good as it is in other ways) is wimpy by comparison.

Now Now ------ Don't make me come over there . I have to defend the honor of american beer makers . If it weren't for the lousy politicians they would probly be making it stronger and since they require a liquor license for anything over say 3.5 % to sell in convenience stores most don't bother to buy the liquor licence here. Liquor stores are one of those things the local geeks control by the county . Personally I like miller high life or sometimes Budwieser if it's free that is .LOL It usually runs about half as much as the imports . We even allow for the crappy imports around here and believe me the stores are stocked with them .

No jokes folks! I left in February last year, had enough of fascism, got a large house knowing others would be up after 11/2 and the results. PM me, if you need/want a place to stay. I have a dog, 2 floors in a large house, and lots of space. Artists and spiritually inclined people preferred.

There has been some talk of combining the canadian military w the american, or vise versa. We have some behind the scenes traitors in govt that are working on this. Naturally there is pressure from the bush cabal. Our primeminister chretien resisted this. The new one, paul martin likely won't. Hopefully when people in general hear about it, they will sqwack. One of the excuses was/is the super weed that makes it's way into the usa from british columbia. They hate our freedoms, man.

The problem here in canada though, is that ottawa ignores the needs of the western provinces of bc and alberta. They could very easily join the usa.

Has anyone noticed here in Toronto the mass of south americans now? In certain industries like construction and the food service and hotel industry the spanish have taken over. What used to be a prodominante european rule of these sectors it has been taken over by the new influx of immigrants from the south.

Now they have figured out how to run all the way from Texas to the great white north!

and they are probly there illegally just the the good ole US of A . Who says crime doesn't pay , it's like the only way to survive these days . It's like there are 2 sets of rules , the one where middle and lower class americans take a F@#4ing and the one where the rich and greedy don't have any rules . I feel for you guys, we've already been through this around here and the fact that it looks like canada is going to join a fool in his folly .

Lawrence --- do you adhere to a religous system ? such as catholic mormon Islam or are you a free thinker such as I ? I am also into passive anarchy but man that is hard to maintain when you know you are being screwed all the time . In america there is more tax law than scripture in the bible they are making laws around here that are unconstitutional and the people are just cattle to the slaughter when it comes to compliance . I predict outright chaos around here in the near future .

I haven't noticed this mind you my acitivities are confined to the downtown core and suburbia. I have also become accustomed to the mixture of cultures over the last 3 decades. For those who do not realize, Toronto has been referred to as the most culturally/ethnically diverse city in the world. One thing is certain: It ain't W.A.S.P town anymore.
