    Im finally ready to tell everyone what my addiction is. Please be kind I have just started with this trouble and maybe a 12-step program will help.

    Okay, here goes.

    My name is MelbaToast and I am addicted to ebay.

    Just the pure plethera of stuff on that site is enough to make me CRAZY!!!!!

    Today on ebay, I found a new baby chair (auctions up tomorrow, Im bluffing this other bidder so the price wont go up) Ordered 2 new ink cartridges for my printer (paid so little for them I wont be really mad if they dont work)- and found the worlds most perfect Christmas dress for my baby....all for about $25.00! I realize I have to be careful of what I buy...so Im sticking with the cheap stuff.

    Also to be known: Im addicted to this site too.

    Anybody know some good drugs for withdrawl for these two sites? Any help you could give to a person in need would greatly be appreciated. Thanks for your concern.

    LOL Melba !! And hey, good luck on your bid. I've only purchased a couple of items from ebay and have been satisfied so far. I'm kinda scared to get involved -yikes.

    I'd suggest drinking as a cure but that might make it worse !!

    XW, I have already started drinking....it actually has the opposite effect...I want to spend more!

    Oh well, gues I'll have to move to the harder stuff. Oh well, maybe it will help my glaucoma.

    Melba, it could be worse. A friend of mine is always bidding on surplus govt property. She has rooms full of crap that the normal person would only use a handful of in a life time. She has a garage full of student desks, old worthless computer terminals, key boards, you name it, she had six dozen to ten thousand of them.

    OBTW, if you're really considering the hard stuff, cranberry w/o sweetner is a good step up!

    I guess I'm kinda the opposite, where it's just too much, so I never buy anything because I can't decide.

    They have great commercials though, I love that one that is done to the tune of "On Broadway".

    Hi Melba Toast,

    You might like to try using e-bay like I do, to make a little money.

    First study up a little on collectables and antiques and get the 'feel' for them.

    Then visit junk shops and charity stores.

    Then sell at auction on e-bay.

    I recently sold a bowl I bought for three pounds for thirty nine pounds and a vase I bought for two pounds for forty-six pounds.

    Give it a go and try a new addiction!

    Get jiggy with the hubby if you have one... or the closest plastic equivalent. Might ease some of the stress of withdrawals from Ebay... hehhehe.
