PS - Air purifiers are good for allergies. But that negative ION crap has been around a while and has not proved out well. I was researching it 10 years ago before I got diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome not at all connected to CRT's Flourescent lighting, etc. It used to be a remedy for VODs Video (CRT) display disorder depression and fatigue.

An interesting side-bar - when I lived in Seattle - even grayer than portland - I used to race sailboats year-round. I'd be outside at least 2 weekends a month. I didn't have any problems then. I think it was because I was outside often and getting real sunlight even cloud-filtered that accounts for the relief, along with winter exercise and fresh air.

    Good luck!

    Dont worry, Beee happyyyy!

Hit the gym daily and eat healthy. also go to a tanning place. If you don't have a girl, soon your game will be off the hook and your only problem will be which girl are you going out with that night.

Give it a few months and you'll be ripped and tan, which will be a refreshing change from many that are scrawny / fat and white as my left butt cheek.

Also flights to Cancun are cheap. Fly down there every month or two and kick back on the beach and play and tan!

Sex is a great way to stave of depression.

I have a pretty good ion purifier. I noticed no positive effects from it myself.

Several years ago, my therapist actually told me that going to a tanning booth for just a few minutes every few days would help. He said, "Don't tell your dermatologist I said that, but if your depression keeps up, you won't need to worry about any other health problems anyway." It was during a VERY depressing time of my life. He actually made me sign a contract that said if I wanted to kill myself I had to call him first. One of the best docs I ever had...Dr. Able in Plano, TX.

I have SAD....currently on an anti-depressent....I was fine living in AZ until I moved back up here to Chicago. Today the sun came out for a little bit, so I went for a walk, I've been told to get out atleast for a 30-45 min walk each day even if it is overcast and do not wear dark sunglasses in the winter..the sunlight should penetrate through your eyes (don't look directly into the sun of course). Also, regular exercise should help as well, to atleast get an endorphine boost.

As far as tanning booths....yes they work too.

Oh man, why would you want to move from Arizona where the sun shines 300 days a year, up to Chicago where the weather is horrible 300 days a year? If I was an American, I'd be living somewhere, anywhere where it was warm all the time. Up here in Canada, we got no choice: everywhere up here gets winter!!
