No, not yet. I still haven't gotten past thinking of them as friends so my initial reaction to seeing them is always a big smile and a happy "Hi!" I imagine that will change when they start being different toward me. But so far, the ones I've seen are exactly the same as they ever were when I would see them out and about.

No, there's nothing for me to be afraid of. But I'm sure they panic when they see me.

Must be the horns I've grown.

No. Instead, I drool at the opportunity to preach the truth to them.

Only when I am in the police identifying line and they pick me out as the one who banged them upside the head on a dark night.

are you kidding? 'tis they who run from me... in fear

(actually it annoys me that they still have the power to pi$$ me off sometimes. only when they can have zero affect on me will i be truly free...)

I avoid them, and that solves the problem.

You will get there. It's great! I have had several to the house now and I just tell them politely "No."

The last one I told that I was probably on her do not call list, after disassociating myself 10 years ago. If I wasn't on the list, then she should check with her elders so I could be put on it. If it had been a man, I would have just told him to put me on. Since it was a woman, I knew she would have to check with her elders first, or wear a dish towel on her head while she did it.

She made note of my name and address and said she would check into it.

It was all very polite, very cordial.
