I tried to comment earlier over the weekend before the server transfer.
I thought that was just fantastic to see the pictures magnified so many times. Then to see them with the colors attached was just phenomenal.
Its like looking at the opposite end of the spectrum in the universe. Time and space being without end, the heavens, the countless galaxies have their equally intriguing counterpart, the wonder of matter being broken down to infinite extremes displayed in those photos.
The inside bottom is a peyote button, but it is in shades of blue that take you right into the center and beyond
I've done research on psychotropic substances. In fact, I even own a couple of books on the subject........I know that Peyote is a mind-altering substance, and that there still exists a native american church to this day that uses it in their worship, despite legal regulations. However, I never knew that just looking at it would have that power of altering reality, altho I'm not surprised because I do believe that meditation alone can bring on the same experiences as using substances.......I am part native american myself so I have done alot of reading about the culture and spiritual practices surrounding them, such as the sweat lodge, the visionquest and the practice of shamanism and drumming..........fascinating stuff!
