In the future, there might appear some biographies of our favorite Judge.
But in the meantime, how about collecting in one place ALL the information we have concerning J.F. Rutherford?
I place this in Scandels and Coeverups because there HAS been a BIGTIME COVERUP throughout the years on all aspects of Rutherford's life.
It is high time for some light to be shown on him!

A lot could be said: but it seems to me that the largest legacy of the good judge is his "millions now living" series of faux pas - especially the 1925 debacle and Beth Sarim. I don't know if there is enough data to fill a book available - but that would be a good one.

I for one would love to see this. It would be great if someone with the knowledge and the mind to do it would take all info about the WT and put it in subtitles that ones like me without much knowhow could get to what we needed when we needed it.
Guess that's what made me a good elder when I was one...............the ability to use love instead of rules when dealing with someone who came forward with a problem.

A couple of months ago FARKLE and his co conspirators dug up a mass of info on the old judge and some of the others who ran with him.
Dig around and you can find it. I am too lazy right now to look for ya.

I've thought for a while now that a major motion picture about the judge would be awesome. He would definitely make for an interesting character on film (for some reason I keep picturing him sort of like an Ebenezer Scrooge). But then again I doubt someone would take a risk on producing something like that.

Instead of the ghost of Christmas past, present and future, we could have the angels appear to Rutherford (like he taught he was guided by the angels) and reveal to him the past miseries infliced on brothers in Germany following his bidding, the present frustration of those he forbid to marry and the future demise of the Watchtower empire in the year 2034. He would repent and send everyone a Christman turkey!
I thought it was interesting how the WT present the memory of JFR, as from the WT of Aug 1st 2004 p12
INCIDENTALLY: I am no supporter of the man but there is a general belief that he was a drunkard . Can anybody present evidence to support this belief? I mean real documented stuff that one can use as an argument against the "Holy" spirit moving the Society rather than the stuff from a bottle?
Part of the problem is that "the judge" relatives, and who knows who else, did sign a silence contract.
I you break a silent contract a lawsuit can follow your relatives after you die...
Is there some proof that this "silence" does indeed "follow relatives"? I find that hard to believe since I am a paralegal in California
Silence contract? Is there evidence out there on that? For how long? I wonder how much money that took. Or was it blackmail? Makes it seem like there's a whole lot more there than meets the eye. Reminds me of that JFK movie.
