Perhaps that's it - the passing over to the new generation, as it were, but the "old stagers" can offer the means of bringing people together.

Certainly the individual acts of kindness and thoughtfulness I've seen just this past few weeks from posters such as Country Woman and Angharad bear that out. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy!!!

OK, now back to the battle!!!

I enjoyed your posted photo, Englishman! I've hosted a few gatherings of former JWs at our home; it's great fun.

Like many on this forum, I've been out for over 15 years, and was active on splinter group called "philia." It started when a few members from "jesus-witnesses" started e-mailing each other. When the cc list got too large, it turned into a listserve that had between 50 to a 100 like-minded folks. The philia list serve is still up, but months goes by before seeing a post. Folks do move on . . .

And I now see that things are changing very fast now. New people coming in and the face of discussions boards like JWD change very quickly with lots of JW related people rushing in.

Anybody understands how I feel.... ?

Similar progress has been obvious here in Fin(n)land within past six months. Situation is interesting and I see no reason to retire.
