BTW, my 1st Son slept 18 hours a day for the first few months of his life, never a bad night, we did keep waking him for food during the 18 hours, who ever heard of a baby having to woken for food rather than the baby waking everyone else?

BTW Perry- that sleep deprivation thing? I once thought- oh well, I'll sleep all I want when I get old. Then I would talk to my grandmother and how she couldn't sleep and she needed so little sleep and found out that in general, most old people don't need much sleep. So there went my sleep I was banking on! It's a sadistic trick I tell ya !!

Each of my kids were different right away in sleeping/eating patters and personality. You'll love yours whether colicky or not! And don't worry about years 1 and 2 not being interesting -- there will be all those milestones to tote up including the first smile, which will melt any daddy's heart!
